I am going to be getting an iPhone this friday(hopefully) and the apple store that i am going to get mine at shows a green symbol as of now...but i was just wondering how often do the apple stores get shipments? every day? or once they sell out of ALL the iPhones? thanks if anyone knows!

They seem to be rotating shipments between the Apple Stores. On Monday, the San Francisco Apple Stores were the only ones in stock in California. On Tuesday, Los Angeles stores got 'em.

We don't yet have enough information to predict who's going to receive what in advance, unfortunately, and Apple is being tight-lipped as usual. The salespeople in-store said they didn't know when they'd get their next shipment.

Hopefully they'll ship them out to the Apple stores by this weekend. I want to get one on Friday when I get paid. About 80% or more of the stores are sold out. It they ship them out this weekend, I'm sure they'll sell a lot just like its debut weekend.

My store is getting some in for tomorrow morning (4th of July). They claim they're opening at 9am instead of 11 for iPhone sales.

My store in Nashville got some in this afternoon just as I was walking in!
I left with an 8gig and there were people lining up to buy them.

My thoughts exactly. People are going to be wanting to buy the iPhone this weekend (including me) so I believe that Apple will make the shipments to meet the demand. Hopefully.

I was supposed to bring my iPhone in to the Cincinnati apple store for a replacement today, but it's showing red dots on the availability site. I sure hope they have one for me to exchange with.
