How Often Do They Re-Stock?

I just came back from the the Apple Store on 5th Ave and i reserved a iPad. Does ANYONE know how often they re-stock? Im debeting weather to order from MacMall or just wait. Does anyone know how often they re-stock in NYC?

They stock as soon as the shipments arrive.

The only thing anyone can tell you for certain, is that they will have a certain amount of stock ready to go at 5:00pm on Friday, April 30, when the 3G iPad is released in stores.

Nope. From what i saw, The only options on the computer were the Wi-Fi.

Yes you can. They dont tell your themselves that you can reserve. Today, i asked if they have in-stock and they said no and i asked myself if i can reserve one and they said yes.

Humm, I hope I do not waste a trip. If this is the case then I will go to the Apple store and talk to someone.

But how can they reserve now without knowing how much stock they will receive?

You are put on a list. If you are number 19 and they get 20 then you will get one. If they only get 18 then you will be the first person to receive one on their next shipment.

People who reserve get them before they allow people to walk in to buy one.

With iPhones they would update the retail pages for each store after 9pm everyday regarding new stock.
I would keep an eye out for something like that for iPad.

That's one thing I can't stand!! All these stupid people buying up ipads with no intention of using it for themselves, just to resell them on ebay for a ridiculous amount.
