So I have a 2G iphone that I jailbroke it on 3.0.1 using Redsn0w. I'm thinking about updating it to 3.1.2 using PwnageTool because I already have it on my mac and because I recently JB my friends to 3.1.2 using it. I'm just not sure if it's worth it... My question is how many of you have updated your jailbreak and are you happy with it or do you suggest I stay at 3.0.1?

I jailbroke on 3.0.1 and haven't changed since. I have everything setup just how I want it, haven't experienced any battery or wifi issues, have native tethering with modified IPCC, and don't plan to change unless/until either I am forced to upgrade due to a crash or some awesome new feature comes out in new FW that i cannot live without.

Normally I like having the latest and greatest FW, but it doesn't seem worth the effort to me.

X2 Here....still at 3.0.1. I don't really see anything in 3.1 that makes me want to upgrade

Moving app locations around via iTunes did it for me. That function is worth the slight aggravation. For some reason all my jailbroken app data was restored after I upgraded and restored from back-up. I didn't lose anything going from 3.0.1 to 3.1.2 - weird.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_2 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7D11 Safari/528.16)

I usually ugrade about a week after the Dev Team releases the latest pwnage tool. I may be a loner on this, but I actually enjoy the upgrade and re-jailbreak process. Guess I'm just a geek.
