Hello

I live in a foreign country that doesn't use United States Dollars. Given the strength of the USD compared to the local currency, an iPhone 13 mini is about $50 USD off the normal price. Does Apple give any advance notice before changing the price? My iPhone 7 is on it's last legs (it's overheating often). I'd like to wait until the iPhone 14 is released so the iPhone 13 mini will go down in price (I think it'll replace the iPhone 12 mini), however I don't want to wait and have the prices increased because Apple adjusted prices.

Does anyone know when Apple will change the prices due to the price of the dollar?

IME it's usually on the release of a new product (ie. iphone price increase can be expected when they announce the iphone 14). But they will occasionally adjust the price outside of releasing a new product, unpredictably, if there is a large disparity in price compared to USD to prevent arbitrage and maximise profit.

I do not think there is a set time when they update. It has more to do with when one’s currency value changes a certain amount when compared to the US dollar.
