I have AirPods Pro 2 since October & have never changed the tips. That’s half a year already. 😳

Ear Fit Test is still good. So how often do you change it?

Never. I don't see the point in changing perfectly functioning tips. The 'Fit Test' is a stupid, poorly functioning gimmick that makes people think they need new tips or that something is wrong with their buds. It's never worked right for me and my Pros work fine.

I hear you, but search Google & everyone saying all these tips have like 3-4 months life span.
That’s why I’m curious.

I think you will need to change the tips if you see signs of wear and tear.
I haven't changed tips in over 6 months and everything is working fine.

Never changed the tips on my AirPods Pro 1 after 3 years. I’ve taken them off to clean but never replaced them

I modified my AirPods Pro tips in probably November/December of 2019, and when I got my AirPods Pro 2, I switched to my modded tips. So, three and a half years here. Daily use. I just clean them every 3-6 months.

I change the domes on my hearing aids about 4 times a year. I wear them 14-hours-a-day, 7-days-a-week, and they are FAR more fragile than the AirPods tips. I expect to change AirPods tips roughly “Never” - the battery should go flat before the tips wear out.
