I think they mean clear out the cache and everything. I hardly ever do it! It is to much of a pain to re enter everything!

Well, in Safari there's an actual reset function, in the Safari menu. It clears the cache and history. It's pretty useful. I do it monthly, like many other things. :)

Oh, if it's deleting cache and history (never heard it called a "reset" before), then I'd have to say "Now and then". (maybe there should be another option in the poll: "After browsing porn"....uh "After accidentally browsing porn"... yeah, that's it ;))

What do you have to "re enter"?

rarely, i only ever do it if my browser is acting up for whatever reason. and then its really only for diagnostic purposes.

if you mean clearing sensitive data, i never do it on my MBP. it's my personal computer and i don't see the need.

when i use the computers on campus though, i clear out everything every time.

someone needs to edit the poll and add the 'whenever i look at porn' option

:D

I clear the cache and history probably once every week or so, but I only use the reset menu item if I notice odd behavior and clearing the cache doesn't correct it. I think I might have used it a total of once or twice.

ive never touched my cache thingo. its really good that itl just keep working and working.

does any1 kno how much space the cache from safari takes up anyway? is there a limit?

I just reset Safari and Camino yesterday for the first time in 6 months of having my MacBook, for no apparent reason at all.

Just showing how few times I have reset the browser...Is this Reset Safari dialog box new in the Safari 3 Beta or has it been there for a while?
