Hello,

I'm thinking about trying to score a used iMac Pro. I'm thinking the 8-core 32gb, 1tbssd with basic graphic card. Are those incredibly outdated at this time or still pretty good? I'm on a late 2013 iMac 4-core, 32gb 3tb fusion. I do a ton in Logic Pro with huge sample libraries and a fair amount of editing in FCPX.

How much faster would the iMac Pro than my current setup? Thanks so much

Hard to quantify. It will be considerably faster. It's also better than the current iMac with maxed out CPU and GPU with equivalent RAM and SSD. So, it's old but relative to the 2019 iMac not outdated.

Although I wouldn't pay full price. Apple has a decent discount on a refurbished unit. OWC has an even better refurbished price. But I don't think it is an Apple Certified Refurbished computer.
