iPad How satisfied are you with the Dock in iPadOS 13.1.2

On my iPad Pro I find it more difficult to add new apps, to the Dock, in iOS 13.1.2 than in iOS 12.1.4. More steps, more traps. Can somebody confirm this is also your feeling?

Long press, select rearrange apps. Drag icon and drop onto dock. Done.

It’s not just adding apps to the dock, moving apps/icons around the screens or to new screens is a major pain. On my iPad Pro 12’ I thought this process was just about perfect, now they’ve really complicated it.

Have you tried to drag icon to a folder in the dock? Sometimes it succeeded but occasionally when I drop it in the folder the icon disappears with an explosion visual effect making impossible the dropping.

I’ve dropped many icons in folders on the dock. I have zero icons on the home screen and all of them are on the dock either by themselves or in a folder on the dock. So no I haven’t seen the issue you’re referring to and I’ve been using iPadOS since beta 3. You might want to try reset all settings. I dunno
