I want to buy a iPad to play games. Should I choose mini, pro or air? What do they have to focus on? Can you recommend it for me?

I think we would have to wait for A28X skynet for it to be able to choose (its own destiny?)

To play games, the 2018 iPad should fit the bill. The Air is outdated, and the Pro is too expensive just for games.

Pro as its better for gaming, obviously.

But if the purpose is to play games on an iPad, then why not buy the best tool for the job?

Not recommending it as it's "too expensive" in your opinion is terrible advice.

Yeah, the pro is the one to buy for gaming. I don't game much and I bought the 2018. Great device for the price and for everything else but I tried 2-3 games on it and even basic 3d graphics introduced some lag. Still playable but definitely not a gaming device.

It’s difficult to suggest anything without some more information such as the type of games the OP is interested in and their budget.

The OP mentioned the mini and Air, so presumably cost is a consideration, and the 2018 iPad blows out any mini and iPad Airs.
