How slow are the C2D Macbook's with stock Memory?

Hello I just bought my sister a new 1.8 Macbook and I was just wondering how slow they are stock. She only uses Itunes, firefox, and Neo-office.

When I bought a 2gb kit for my macbook pro I noticed no major improvements with those three things, but ALOT in gaming with bootcamp.

Should I order a 2gb kit from datamem for her? Or would 1gb do for what she does. Or even leave it stock. I havn't been following how fast the C2D is as my macbook pro is a core duo. Thanks.

You will notice an improvement when you are running many applications.

If you only run 1 application even an ancient iBook G3 will probably do just fine
