C'mon, 5.0.1 literally just came out.
If enough people demand an update again, then MAYBE we'd see a significant update the end of December.
If Apple thinks the masses are content with 5.0.1, then expect to wait a bit.
Sorry, my iPhone 4 was rolled back, I'm still stuck with crappy battery life on my iPhone 4S - but it's getting exchanged - seems mine's got a hardware fault which keeps causing the thing to crash.

I'd expect a 5.0.2 or something similar for the 4S pretty soon. As of now, the 4S struggles when using AirPlay with a Wi-Fi Express. AirPlay is completely broken right now. The audio drops within 3-20 seconds of playing a song. It's all over the Apple Support Communities and the 7.6 firmware didn't seem to help.

If anything we will probably see a 5.X jump this time for new features. However If a few bugs are found or a jailbreak exploit is released then we will see another 5.0.X update.

ok, tell me how than... i've tried normal restore and dfu restore so far.. and i've read that saving SHSH blobs doesn't help either. iPhone 4S with iOS 5 is impossible to downgrade since you can't downgrade to iOS 4
