How stable is the macOS Sierra Public Beta?

"Stable enough" is a difficult question to answer. It's completely subjective.
Do you use your Mac to browse Facebook and listen to iTunes? Then yes, it's stable enough. Do you use your Mac for your livelihood and need a machine that performs reliably? Then no, don't even upgrade when 10.12's properly released, until a .2 update.
I installed macOS Sierra on my MacBook yesterday, and everything is seems so fine. For me, main problem is incompatibility of many apps at this moment. Until developers upgrade apps, I switched back to El Capitan.
I installed the beta yesterday on my 2011 Macbook Pro, everything seems fine at the moment, except for it being a little slow, i think that's more to do with the fact that my Macbook is now 5 years old! Siri surprised me and is actually very accurate and helpful, i'm finding that using Siri on the Mac is in fact better than on the iPhone and iPad.
Been using it for a few days and very impressed with stability and snappiness on a MacBook Air 2013.
It appears to be pretty stable on my Early 2015 MacBook Air, at least for typical computer usage. Very impressive for a beta, as I've had not-so-pleasant experiences with iOS betas back in the 4.x.x and 5.x.x days. All of my primary applications are working fine and Siri is a nice new addition. Applications that I can confirm to be fully functional include...
-Google Chrome
-Google Drive
-Kindle for Mac
-Office 365 (local installations of the latest versions of Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
-iWork (latest versions of Pages, Keynote, Numbers)
-iStat Menus 5
-Android File Transfer

Only issues I've since I installed the beta have been trying to install games from my Amazon Digital library, but I'm not sure if these are issues on Amazon's end or macOS. Couldn't get CoD2 or CoD4 to download. Not a big deal though, as they aren't necessary applications.

I'm actually surprised that Apple let this build of Sierra out as the Public Beta - for me, it has been alpha-level buggy on a late 2013 13" rMBP, 4GB RAM. Most things ARE working, although I'm getting a lot of random slowness. Most things I've been using have **** the bed at some point while using them (can't get Skype to work, Safari starts displaying blank pages and needs to be force-quit, Siri randomly activates on its own and then freezes, Mail and iTunes have quit randomly).
Software Update is showing iTunes 12.5 (which is already installed), and just freezes up if I try to download or cancel.
Yes, beta is buggy, no doubt, and this is not my primary machine. But, boy, I'm quite surprised at how bad this build is.

Yeah. Seems a lot of Apple problems are weirdly device-specific. I'm sure all of these issues I'm having will be fixed in the next beta update. I just hope it comes along soon!
The only problem I have found so far running the public beta on my late 2013 MBP is that iTunes won't open. I've tried re-installing the beta but that didn't fix it. iTunes 12.4.1 runs perfectly well though.
I'm having a WiFi issue where it won't reconnect after long periods of sleep, and then trying to turn WiFi off or on via the menu doesn't do anything. Trying to turn it on in Terminal causes the whole system to crash and restart.

I'm running Sierra PB1 on a late 2012 rMBP. It seems quite good.
Other than a few slowdowns on a few pages in Chrome, & text in a few apps being somewhat misplaced, I haven't had any real issues. I don't use too many 3rd party apps besides Chrome, VLC, Dropbox, & Google Drive.

ehhh. I did wake to a Kernel Panic restart error and have had Photoshop crashing on me doing certain tasks.
Oh and iTunes won't minimize for some reason UNLESS you go up to "Hide iTunes". If you click the yellow minimize button it instantly pops back up.

i've found another problem but i don't know if it is only on my mac, can you upload files while using any browser? for example on Gmail using the button for uploading files? my web browsers crash when i use the button.
I threw it on my late 2009 Macbook. Seems stable enough but I don't even use the thing anymore. I just installed it to see the new features. I'm nervous about installing it on my 2014 Macbook Air.
Running macOS Sierra Public Beta on my "unsupported" MacBook Pro mid 2009 with 8GB RAM and it runs very well. Of course there are some bugs and eventually crashes, but I didn't noticed anything so worse in comparison to El Capitan. Third party apps like OpenEmu, Telegram, Tweetbot and Adobe CC are working fine.
Essentially everything other than Bartender is working for me currently, but I am admittedly a pretty lightweight user as far as third party apps go. The stability of the OS itself and the built in apps are rock solid for me on a 2015 13" rMBP. I have not encountered any bugs since resolving a wake-from-sleep issue that was related to kernel extensions from third party apps like Duet.
I just installed Sierra on another partition on my MacBook 12" 2015. So on it is really fast, but I must tested so many apps...
I have it on my 211 MacBook Air and 2011 MacBook Pro as well my 2013 Retina MacBook Pro and so far Stable as a Rock there a few App that need a Sierra update. But there a few work around's the main Apps like Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC Office 365 work like a champ. Even Aperture works so far and I very happy with it one of the most stable Betas Apple has released. Now it is my daily driver but will not put it on Mission Critical Mac will not get until the GM.
