how tall is the imac stand?

I can see the measurements for the size of the imacs on apples site but they dont include the height of the stand. I was just wondering how tall the stand is I want a 27" imac but height is gonna be real right unless the stand is very short or I use a vesa mount

I was at Best Buy measuring the demensions for both the 21.5" and 27" iMac. For the 27" iMac, I measured 20.5 inches from the table top to the top of the iMac. For the 21.5" iMac, I measure 18 inches from table top to the top of the iMac. I measured twice just to make sure as i am debating between the 21.5 and the 27 inch and physical size is a variable in my decision.

thanks, the drawings on apples site say 20.5" but the bar only goes as far as the screen not the stand, I guess the bar is just misdrawn and should include the stand also
