Hello, I came from Android world. I am a bit confused about how the Apps store work.

In the case of Android, if I have installed an app to either my phone or tablet, it is added to a list of apps that I own. I can see that list easily whenever I go to the app store. I have installed some apps to my iPhone but when I visited the app store from my new iPad, I cannot find a list of apps that I have installed before. If I go to a particular app that I have used before, it just shows a cloud symbol. Can I see the full list of apps that I have installed in other iOS devices in the past?

I have some apps installed on my iPhone but I cannot find them when visiting the apps store from my iPad. Also, there are apps that I have paid to install to iPhone but when I see that app from my iPad's app store, there is a cost listed. No idea why I have to pay again to use it on another iOS device.

Could anybody please clarify?

I just finished reading your other post, so I'm unsure why you are new to the app store.

Go to your purchased apps, and make sure you're not looking at iPhone only when you're on your iPad, and vice versa. Not all apps use a universal binary (made for both).

I just found that by pressing my own icon, I can see a list of previously purchased app and also apps that I have installed on my iPhone but not yet installed on my iPad.

Thanks.
