You have to ssh the old app onto your phone (to the applications folder). If you are uncomfortable with what I said, download independence (code.google.com/independence) and drag the installer.app to the applications folder. iN will do the rest.
Not sure where installer.app is? Right-click on the installer, show package contents>Contents>Resources>installer.app.

Yeah, I'm fine with using iNdependence...

BUT will the old app work on an unlocked 1.1.1?

The website says:

This does not work with iPod Touch or iPhone firmware 1.1.1 at this time. However you can downgrade an iPhone by following the instructions here

I don't want to downgrade


I don't want to brick my phone

SO what should I do?
