My iPhone was stolen a week ago.
Long story short: iPhone was immediately locked in every posible way (iCloud and local carrier). "Lost mode" was confirmed 30 mins later (the thief first turned off but receive the "lost mode" message when he turned on).
A couple of days later I receive the Phising attempt to my real iCloud email. How thiefs were able to access that? My iCloud email is not published in any site.
Here's the website of the phishing attempt (of course, I didn't fall for it):
RDLWZGX

It's a mystery to me how they get that info.

It's unlikely the events are related. Your email address doesn't need to be "published" to be misused, it could be on-sold or stolen from a site you've registered at.
