Hi everyone,

I know how to do the basic reflection (using Free transform, flip vertical, gradient tool, etc.).

However, I have a problem when I want to do the reflection of a product photographed from the side.

I attach the 2 photos. One is the photo of the coffee machine I fail to do the reflection. Another one is an example from apple.com. Please help!

Thanks.

Ted

this should help

Hi,

you know the basics already, so you are on the right track.

use the polygon lasso to select only one side of the object that you want to reflect.

now insert your steps - copy, paste, flip etc.

now use the free transform (skew and distort) to tweak it out a little.

if you need more help, please post

cheers and good luck

Dear jammedpearl,

Could you attach the retouched coffee machine photo? I still can't do it. Anyway, thanks for your help.
