Hi,

I've installed Parallels in a MacBook with Mac OS X 10.4.8.

My question is: how could I access the files in my Mac hard disk?

I used to have a Windows/Linux dual boot in my old PC, so I would choose what OS I wanted and from Linux I could access the files I had in my Windows partition (although not the other way round). However, now I can use both OSs at the same time but from the Linux VM I can't access the files in the Mac.

Is there any way I can do that?

Thanks a lot, xinelo

I did not read much of the manual, but I'm sure I saw something in there that says how to set up a shared folder so you can swap files whenever you want... I tossed the manual, as parallels doing the one thing I needed it for.

yeah you can either use shared folder
OR
if you're running the beta2 version, just drag & drop between the OSes

Hi,

Thanks for your answers.

I forgot to mention that the OS located in the VM is Ubuntu Linux, and the Share Folder feature is only available for Windows as a guest OS.

I'm not using beta2, by the way. I'll upgrade when the definite version comes out, but I doubt the drag & drop option is available for linux this time.

Thanks for your help!
