hey i have a windows live account with my school, is there a way that i can access it? so far i only completed where it says to add my name, email adress, and password, the next screen its asking me for a host name, user name and password which i have no clue what they are. can some one help please.

Do you go to one of those schools where they use Windows Live to host your university e-mail?

If so, then you can only get at it if they have offered you an IMAP, POP, or Exchange access to the account. You have to go to your school IT site and look at the instructions for accessing the account on a non-campus computer, and then you can use basically that same information to set it up on your phone.

Thank you. I will look on the schools website to see if there's any info.

Not lazy. I remember a story about a big school graduation. To the left of the stage were the engineers, who, as soon as they got their diplomas, started chanting, "We got jobs! We got jobs! We got jobs!"

Then the MBA grads started chanting back, "Working for us! Working for us!"

:D

lol, now thats funny

I'm going to go out on a limb and say the MB. If $$$ is no object, go MBP. But I'm going to guess the MB will suffice for your needs.

ok i think i found something can someone any one back me up with this?

i just googled how to add windows live email account onto the iphone 3g and this is what i got:

Yahoo! Mail, Gmail, AOL and MobileMe: all this is nice, of course, and of very little use when you have a Windows Live Hotmail account and want to access it in iPhone Mail.
Fortunately, a smart service can turn any Windows Live Hotmail or MSN Hotmail account into a POP or IMAP account that looks regular and accessible to any email program — including iPhone Mail. With IzyMail, you can access Windows Live Hotmail transparently and see your custom folders, too.

If you prefer not to hand your log-in credentials over to IzyMail and a dedicated Windows Live Hotmail app for the iPhone or iPod touch makes you happy, take a look at m•Box Mail
