how to add pictures to ipad photo from email?

how do I take emailed photos and add them to my ipad photos?

The jpgs were not listed in the email address as attachments and I did not have the ability to save pics as I do on the mac.

Hold down your finger over the image until a popup appears, then select "Save image".

Email Pics To Ipad Photos

The pic I tried was shown as an attachment so I probably won't be of any help. I clicked on the little curved arrow at the top(looks like reply) and it gave me the option to "save photo", but as I said, mine was listed as an attachment. I see it now has been answered.
