Hi, anyone know of an app that will allow airprinting imessages directly to printer without transferring to a computer first (lots of those apps exist)? I'm also looking to avoid copying, putting in an email, then printing the email. I'd love an app that added the option of printing to selected imessage text in addition to forwarding. Thanks for any ideas!

Never heard of anything like this, and not sure if exists. It will need access to Messages app and this will violate iOS security as this is one of the core apps.

What about copying to the "Notes" app and air-printing from there?

There are couple of ways you can use to air print your text messages and iMessages. You can take screenshots of messages and then print them. If there is a long message thread, batter put all those screenshots in a PDF file and then print from your iPhone.

If you want to avoid any email app, why don't you go for the native Notes app? You can copy-paste your messages in Notes app and then print.

There are three software packages you can use to air print your messages: Decipher TextMessage (https://deciphertools.com/decipher-textmessage.html)

iExplorer (https://macroplant.com/iexplorer)

iMazing 2 (https://imazing.com/download)
