We just bought a new iPod touch for our boy. Now we want to move a couple of apps on our iPhone to his new phone. No need to keep the app on our iPhone. His iPod Touch will sync on a different computer. How can this transfer be done? Would it help to sync both on the same computer?

Thanks!

If it's paid apps you want to move, I'm pretty certain he'll have to sync his iPod with your computer, assuming he doesn't mind having to put all of his music and movies on there as well. You might be able to authorize his computer with your account, and then download those apps again onto his machine, but I don't know if that's possible.

If they're free apps, well, he can download them with his own account and install them, no issue.
