When I take a photo on my iPhone it get's synced to Photos on my Mac automatically. How can I get the same to happen for video? And I'd like to get the "live" component of the photos too. Can I configure this or is there an app for it?

I don’t even know where you’d turn this off. In iCloud photo settings there’s no option to turn video syncing on or off, it’s either photos and videos are syncing or they are not.
Try turning iCloud photos off and on maybe?
