Hi,

Please tell me if I should post this in macOS Mojave rather than here.

I'm using ProtonVPN and have their app installed and running on Mojave 10.14.4

A website I absolutely need is able to detect that the IP I'm using comes from a VPN service. It wouldn't be so annoying if the said website wouldn't blacklist my account afterwards. It took 2 months to have my account back.

I'd like to find a way to deactivate ProtonVPN before and while I have an active connection to that website. ProtonVPN itself does not provide any sort of IP whitelist.
OR is there a way to route the traffic through ProtonVPN except for a specific destination IP?

Thanks a lot.

I did an Automator app that records me doing the action of turning VPN off, then I added the action to launch the specific website in Safari. I placed the icon app next to Safari in the dock.

A workaround.
