Hi All,

Well I've been lurking on these forums for a few months now, I have just ordered a new MBP and it should be arriving in about a week's time.

My questions is what should I/anyone do to bed in a new MBP? Or is there a definitive tech thread somewhere which shows what everyone should do?

So far I have:
Restoring my old powerbook's 10.5 build via time machine...
Ramp up the processor to evenly layer the CPU/heatsink paste, SMC fan control etc... but what process should I use to max out the cores? Advice please on this one
Calibrate the battery (Via the tech note on apple's support website)

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated, as well as by any new MB/MBP owners.

Seti or Folding

Run Folding at home or a Boinc Project fully for a week. That'll run the cpu in.
