Is there a way to block apps sending infos to graph.facebook?
I installed 15.3.1 on my "canary" old iPhone to experiment the 15 iOS Privacy report and other stuff.
I'm not a Facebook user since 2008....

BTW Apple is sending a lot of informations to iCloud when I look at photos: in settings every setting is off for Photos
Nothing is On, not sharing , zero, nada.

Try NextDNS. They got a list of privacy lists you could add to that’ll block all trackers as well as the ads from apps. Just install their app or a profile customized to your config on your device. And since it’s at DNS level and done server side there’s zero impact on the battery.
Just create an account if you wanna come back and customize it later. And if you’re using it on just one device it’s free until 300k queries so there’s no need to purchase a plan either.

That’s what I switched to after using apps like Lockdown which have been draining the battery. I even paid for the yearly plan since I got a dozen Apple devices including the TV and I’ll quickly hit the 300k limit on the free tier. Not a bad deal for me at least.

Before trying NextDNS- I read some discouraging infos on Reddit
I tried to block several addresses on my router : it works great on my Mac but not on my iPhone. Why?
I looked into it and that was more than a year ago. No other fiasco after that.
Having said that, how did you install on the iPhone? Did you use your custom ID for your config for your iPhone? Without that you’re just using their default filters and that’s not enough.

Probably the best solution would be a profile ad hoc
No Wi-fi assist
Thanks for your suggestions

Several apps available that use the virtual VPN method to filter ads and other things can be used to block domains at the user's request. I know for sure that Adguard Pro allows the user to block domains on a blacklist. You could easily add this site and others to this list to block system wide.

This user review of NextDNS raises some concern.

Have you actually tried to install the profile yourself? And from what I can tell I don’t think he knows how to even remove a profile.
My best guess is he never completed the second step of actually installing a profile and just downloaded it. And then couldn’t find the profile when he tried to remove it.

I am using the lockdown app. Seems to work.

The most recent reviews on the App Store are not stellar… it seems it downloads a lot of data
I guess the best it’s to make your own profile .
