How to Burn DVD?

I have episodes of a tv show that are 350mb each and i want to burn them to a dvd so i can watch on my tv but when i use iDVD it encodes them and says turns the episode into like 1.5GB each and i can only put 1-2 on a dvd and it takes hours to encode. is there an easier way to do this? Thanks.

Toast will make things much easier. You can either burn those shows as a data disc that will play in divx compatible dvd player or convert to burn for dvd. The dvd files will be larger though.
