How can I burn a mp4 video onto a dvd so that it plays in dvd players? anyone know of any apps or os functionality that allows for this? Running an iMac with El Cap and a Superdrive.

I have iMovie 9 and iMovie 10 and cannot find this function to make a DVD that plays in DVD players. How do I do that?
I thought there was an export function at one point for DVD but here's an alternative method using Burn-OSX.
It is functionality from iDVD (not iMovie) that burned the actual DVD, but iDVD is no longer included/supported/etc. I think since Lion or SL.
One can use Burn as mentioned, but if you're not using any professional editing/authoring software, Toast is pretty straightforward and for me, easier to do quick stuff... some people will disagree and say it's difficult or buggy. It's bundled with a lot of things or one can buy a separate license for $20.
