Earlier this week I bought what I thought was an unbranded Xr phone off from Apple web sight. After receiving my invoice I noticed it said something about T-Mobile. Seeing this I called Apple to ask if in fact it was a T-Mobile phone and was told it was the only phone that is basically unlocked.
Can anyone tell me if in fact I will be getting a none branded unit or doesn't it matter? I am a Verizon customer and will be using my sim from my Galaxy in my new phone. Both my old phone and my new iPhone where payed for at the time of purchase . Can anyone shed some light on this?

There's no cell provider branding on the phone itself.

Thanks for filling me in....I thought the phone would have the carriers logo, as well as crap ware that I have seen on so many other phone that were bought thru the carrier of choice.

Apple has never allowed iPhones to carry badging from cell providers, so there's nothing to worry about there.
