When you buy AppleCare+ from an authorized reseller like Expercom, can you activate it if you didn't buy the Apple device from the reseller? I bought a CTO build-to-order MacBook Pro direct from Apple Store online and want to add AppleCare within the 60 day initial ownership window. Expercom has the APP protection plan at discount (just like B&H did many years ago on eBay). Is APP+ (emphasis on the plus) just like the old non-AppleCare Plus, wherein you can activate the service plan to your Mac with a code that's shipped to you? Or are the APP+ plans sold by Expercom meant to be bundled with an Apple device on the same invoice that is only purchased direct from Expercom. Thank you!
