How to call process window to the front?

Hi all!

Sometimes processes create windows that aren't linked to currently running apps that are available in the app switch (command-tab). If I hide all other apps I can find it way in the background. Is there any way to draw it to the foreground aside from hiding everything else?

Specifically in this case its Zoom video conference that if you record, then opens a process to transcode the video in the background from the proprietary format to mpeg 4.

Would it work to assign that its own Desktop? Then set Mission Control to a Hot Corner, and all you have to do is move the mouse there and then to that Desktop.

Pretty sure that still requires being able to interact with a foreground capable application. Thanks for the suggestion!

It is probably a so-called ‘non-activating panel’. This kind of window is auxiliary to another main window. The only thing you can look for is the Window menu of the application in question.

Interesting. The main app closes and then this window opens. So not sure about that.

You might try pointing "Accessibility Inspector.app" at the window in question. That should tell how to address it.
Accessibility Inspector.app is currently embedded in Xcode/Contents/Applications.
It still opens through Spotlight or a double click.
