How to cancel install of iPadOS 15?

I downloaded iPadOS 15 onto my iPad Air. I absolutely hate the layout. While it was installing, I began the install on another iPad. It got through the download and now is asking me to install now. Is there anyway to completely cancel the install so that it won’t install on its own at some later point? Thanks for any thoughts.

Turn off automatic install and delete downloaded backups.

Thanks, but I don’t understand what downloaded backups are. Backups of what? Is there a place I can delete the downloaded file of iPadOS 15?

Sorry. I mean Downloaded iOS install files. Typo. You delete downloaded install files in settings app storage section.

Just curious. What's so different that you can't rearrange to the way you like or that you can't turn off in the settings?

I’m glad I only installed iPadOS 15 on one of my two iPads. I hate 15! It is a step backwards. Safari absolutely sucks in 15.

Just curious. What's so different that you can't rearrange to the way you like or that you can't turn off in the settings?

This was my Home Screen on 14. I really liked the layout. I can’t pin the widget on 15.
