How to change main photo on an album?

Is there a way I can change the main photo on an album on iOS 10?

I don't believe you can do that. They removed this option also from Photos for Mac.

The main album picture will always be the first picture placed into the album. Perhaps delete the album and put the picture you want into the album first?

How?! In iPhoto you could scrub through the miniatures and press Space to change the album-image.

In iPhoto you can right click on the images and select Make Key Photo.

All of my photos are sorted by date, so I went into iPhoto and edited the dates on the photos I wanted to be my key photos. Easy peasy!
