How to change startup screen

Hi,

Would like to change the initial startup screen logo and background.
I find the blank white screen super glaring especially at night.
Can anyone advise on how to change?

I don't think it's possible to change the startup screen as it's built into EFI I think (will show up without HD). You can change the login screen but that's not what you meant

There used to be an application called BootXChanger that would allow you to change the logo.

My imac just arrival 3 days ago..not sure what version.

Bro, bootxchanger can only change the apple logo and backdrop.
What i want to change is the bright and blank screen before the apple log appear during startup. any bros have solution?
