So, everybody here who has use smartphones frequently, how do you charge your phone?
1. use household socket
2. use a power bank
3. use a battery case
4. others (like power inverter if you want to charge in a car)
I used to leave my phone plugged in all day/all night to a wall socket. Now I use an Anker 6 port 60watt hub at work to charge my 20,000 mAh, 16,000 mAh, and 3,200 Anker battery bricks. In the summer I use an Anker 21 watt solar panel to charge my bricks in the work parking lot outside my office window (put the panel on top of the car roof, 6 ft cable to battery under car seat to the battery with window open to reduce heat). My wife has a 13,000 mAh Anker brick she uses at college - we charge that a few times a week at home with our 2 port 24watt Anker charger next to her bed or I'll give her one of my bricks while I charge hers in my car with the solar panels.
(Yes, I'm a huge Anker fan - I've used many many batteries and Anker seems the highest quality and longest lasting (charge cycles)).
Now that I have an iPad Air 2 my iPhone 6s+ sees a lot less usage meaning I have to charge it a lot less - so I don't plug it in at night anymore or during the day. My iPad Air 2's battery lasts forever.... for frigging ever.
So now, most of my devices are charged via battery bank when they need it - or I'll top them off with the wall socket at work in the morning if I'm too lazy to use the solar panels in the parking lot. I try to keep my draw from the grid at its lowest during peak usage (

I carry my lipstick 3,200 mAh Anker battery with me in my backpack. That keeps me going easily for a day or more. If I have long trips I'll take the 20,000 mAh brick and that'll last me a week easily (assuming I don't watch too many videos). The 16,000 mAh sits at home and charges our devices when I see they need a charge.
