Hi there

Just updated from Mavericks. Like lots of people, I have multiple email accounts and always viewed them in Mail in the one Inbox.

When composing a mail, I used to simply then choose which account I wanted to send it from. That drop down has now vanished in El Capitan - so how do I select which account to send from?!?!

Any help, sincerely appreciated. I've spent too long searching Preferences and Google!

On my EC test machine, Mail still has that drop down box. Did you check the email preferences yet for different smtp servers?

Thanks for the reply...

Well, it's defo not there, and I've checked the preferences and only have an option to 'Send new messages from: selected mailbox or iCloud (it won't let me pick another account)

I've just checked and I've also got the From dropdown directly below the subject field in the new message window. Have you checked that all your accounts are enabled in the accounts section of the preferences pane?

The reason I ask is that if I disable all but one of the accounts, the from box disappears
