So I've had a blackbook for a while, and I've constantly been searching and reading and trying new things (from microfiber cloths to Mr. Clean erasers, etc) to get grease smudges and fingerprints off of the case.

In an amazingly brilliant (and slightly drunk) 4th of July moment, I used a ponds makeup wipe, and it works better than anything I've tried so far. They're pre-moistened towels, so just take out one and wipe down one section of the case (top, bottom, palmrest, etc) and then quickly wipe off the dampness with a clean, dry towel.

They're cheap, and you can get a refill pack at any drugstore or grocery store for about $5 for 30 cloths. And no, it doesn't leave your macbook smelling like anything.

I stumbled across this a few years ago It works wonders on old scungy keyboards, mice, etc. And you don't have to scrub real hard.
