Hey Guys,

I'm new to coding for the iPhone and have always failed at coding network based applications so was hoping if anyone on here would be helpful enough to guide me in building the base code for some applications i want to build.

Basically what im trying to do is have the iPhone act as a 'client' and connect to a OSX application 'server'

The user will press a button on a client and this will call a function on the server.

A example application will be a remote to activate/deactivate the lock in Utility Lock.

Any help is appreciated, and yes i have tried to read guides but my skills with C are far less then ObjC

that would require me to create a http server would it not? is this the standard method other developers are using to create such setups?
