I have a 2015 5K and I am using one of the Thunderbolt ports to connect to a OWC Thunderbay IV and I am using the other Thunderbolt port to connect to a G Raid enclosure. I now want to connect a OWC drive dock that uses two Thunderbolt cables, though I am out of Thunderbolt ports.

1. My understanding of the OWC Thunderbolt dock is that I can use only one Thunderbolt cable, though it will not be as fast when using two Thunderbolt cables, is this correct?

2. What are my options for attaching this additional dock? Do I need to buy a hub or is there a way to daisy chain the dock to one of my other enclosures? If so, is there a downside to doing this?

Thanks.

Thunderbolt supports daisy-chaining so can you not connect the Drive Dock to the Thunderbay IV or G Raid (both of which have two TB2 ports for I presume daisy-chaining to other TB2 devices)?
