macOS How to connect the computer to the Internet?

Hi,

I'm quite new to programming on Mac OS X and the Carbon environment. So could you show me some ways to connect the computer to the Internet and disconnect from it using APIs of Carbon?

What exactly are you looking to do? Technically the OS does the connecting/disconnecting - are you trying to view pages, or connect to some other type of server?
