I recently installed an app, [app]phonebook[/app] that appears very much to be a phishing app. First of all, you are required to enter your AT&T username and password to use the app. (The app says its a "dialer that *automatically* sorts your top contacts" and pulls photos from your facebook account. If that's the case, why do they need my AT&T username and password? Also, their Terms of use seem very suspicious. Check them out at [http://somoenterprises.com/about/terms.html], especially sections 4 "Fees", which I understand to say they can charge you fees when every they want, for however much they want (Maybe that's why they want my AT&T username and password) and section 8 "Your Property Rights and the Licenses You Grant to PhoneBook" which basically says the owners of the app can do whatever they want with content you create without having to pay you any royalties.
I think this app is horrible, but don't take my word for it, read all of the reviews the app has on the app store. About half of the reviews are saying the app has horrible terms of use. Anyway, I think this app should be removed from the app store ASAP. Is there a way I can provide feedback or something to Apple so they can look into it?
