I want to convert a text-PDF to an image-PDF (not as separate JPG's). So when I place the pdf in a document, the layout remains unchanged.

Does anyone have any idea how to do that on MacOs 11.2 BigSur? It can of course also be an online solution.

Allready thanks for the answers. ;)

one of the reasons for the existence of PDF is that document layout&typography are preserved and to present and exchange documents reliably — independent of software, hardware, or operating system.

so why convert a e.g. PDF with vectorbased typography allowing scalable, maximal quality on any possible output device to something which is in many aspects just mediocre?

That's an easy one, export as an image or take a screenshot using Shift+CMD+4.

The inverse, image to text-PDF is done with an OCR software, like Textify for example ;-).
