How to convert mp3 files to an audiobook?

How can I convert mp3 files to an audiobook in macOS Catalina?

When I import the mp3 files into Books each of the files shows up as a separate book. I want them to be, of course, just one single book.

You will need to use a third party app. When I was actively doing this, I used to use BookBinder. There are a few apps in the store for this specific task.

I found two applications: AudioBookBinder (free) and AudioBook Builder ($5).

AudioBookBinder needed a lot of time but did the job very nicely.
