In the Messages App on the iPhone, how do you convert selected text into all CAPITALS?

Is it possible? You would think by iOS 17.5.1, this feature would be included?
Or is a third party app required?

I really would not expect that function from standard iOS. It’s nothing I’ve ever personally had a desire to do, and while obviously there’s some interest - it seems niche to me.

iOS is more about curated, commonly-used functions than “everything including the kitchen sink”

You could also create a shortcut.

It may not be important to you, but it may benefit other users. Already, when you highlight some text the pop-up options include;
Cut, Copy, Replace, Auto-Fill, Look Up, Translate, Search Web, Speak, Spell, Share.

I doubt an option "All Caps" is asking for much!

Thanks, I'll have to check that out. :)

:apple:
UPDATE: I experimented with this and it is great. If you alter "Change Text to UPPERCASE" to "Ask Each Time". When you're in any app (e.g. Notes); Ask Siri: "Clipboard" (if that is the name of the shortcut) and she'll present a menu screen of capitalizions to pick from. :)
