I finally got my DVD off of my computer but I want to now convert it to a WMA or something powerpoint will recognize. I used DVD Shrink, so the files are in VOB. I need to convert them now to WMA or something to that will work in powerpoint. Any ideas how to do this?

Handbrake converts to MP4, but I don't know if that works in powerpoint. I would guess it would. Videohelp.com might have an answer for you.

Re:

Handbrake is available for Windows.

The easiest way I can think is to encode into DivX AVI (using Handbrake) then using something like VirtualDUB to extract the audio track from the new .avi Handbrake created, then use Windows Media Player to convert to WMA, or iTunes to convert to MP3.

These apps are all free and are for Windows
