Hi all,

I have some videos that are m4v, and ready to put on my third generation ipod nano. However, I don't want to put them in itunes, and I don't want to use a separate media manager for all my music either. I want to keep syncing my music using itunes and use separate software to copy my video files to my ipod.

Is there some software of this kind that can do this for me? Preferably free, but it doesn't have to be?

Thanks,

Will

Convert all your video files to iPod MP4 H.264.
You may find how from here.

I already have quicktime pro, and I've exported all my files to m4v format (iPod format). I just need to put them onto my iPod third generation without using iTunes, and without copying or putting the files in iTunes.
