Is there a way to count the number of open tabs (and ideally also windows) in Safari or DuckDuckGo browser? Firefox has this built in, but I can't find a simple way to do this in either Safari or DDG on macOS.

In Safari go to File > New Tab Group With XX Tabs, and XX is how many tabs you have open in that window.

If you have more than one window open, you have to do the same for each window.

Sorry, no idea about DDG.

The sidebar in Safari will tell you the total number of tabs open for a specific window. It does not count tabs across windows however.

If one has so many tabs open that one needs to count them, one has too many tabs open.
