So I have SMB network shares that I connect with CMD+K, but I can't seem to be able to make shortcuts of these drives (or have them auto connect on startup).

Anyone know how to do it?

In your library /users/yourname/Library/Recent Servers

Is location files that you can double click to reconnect to those servers. You can add smb://user:pass@server to the file to make it connect without supplying credentials.

Thanks that worked!

The bad part is they don't show up on my desktop. That is the network connection (or drive) doesn't show up on the desktop.

Drag the mounted drive onto the dock, between the Trash and the dividing line.

Thanks to both of you!

I added the shortcuts to login items. Is there a way to let that happen without getting the popup? Basically login to the server automatically (by being quiet)?

Thanks!
