the new itunes has an option to convert songs to 128 kbps AAC for ipod. Great, but I have a different idea.
I want to convert all my itunes songs EXCEPT for the U2 and Radiohead songs to 128kbps AAC then sync em to my ipod.
But I don't see anyplace in itunes where you can change conversion size. I want 128, not 254. It seems that before, you could go to PREFERENCES > ADVANCED and there'd be a place where you could specify what AAC size you wanted. It's disappeared in iTunes 9, so where is it hiding? I know Apple tends to move things around from time to time. Thanks! :)

Preferences -> General (the first tab) -> Import Settings.

You may want to try out 80kbps High-Efficiency AAC too (new to iTunes 9).
