I was getting tech help from Verizon, my service provider, and they left some temporary apps on my MacBook Pro (El Capitan). I have deleted all but one, VerizonUpdateCenter. Trying to delete it from my Application folder won't work, it says because it is still running. I see no symbols showing it running.

How can I get this off my computer?

Thanks.

Open Activity Monitor (Its in /Applications/Utilities/), find the app in question and select it, and force quit it using the button in the top left corner. Then you can delete it.
